Aswan International Women Film Festival

Aswan International Women Film Festival (AIWFF) is an annual event in Aswan, Egypt, dedicated to films addressing women's issues, success stories, and female filmmakers from Egypt and the MENA region.

Founded in 2017 by Egyptian screenwriter Mohamed Abdel Khalek, it features competitions, workshops for local youth, and discussions on topics like gender-based violence, held under patronage of Egyptian ministries.
